Here is a checklist of the most important dietary and lifestyle factors to eliminate migraines:
- Contact us to set up an initial consultation for amino acid therapy
- Get a notebook/journal and keep a daily journal – determine your triggers

- Eat regularly throughout the day
- Exercise at least 30 minutes 5 times per week doing something you enjoy
- Get to bed between 9-10 PM consistently and try and get at least 7-8 hours of sleep/night
- Incorporate regular stress reduction techniques into your daily routine
- Use supplementation as needed

When you call, we will set up a 20-30 minute phone or in-house consultation with Dr. Oler where you will review a brief health history and your goals. Dr. Oler will then lay out recommendations for you to begin targeting the root cause(s) of any imbalances; this may include supplementation, dietary and lifestyle changes, and/or additional testing. The initial consultation is just $60.
If your health history is not very complex, you will usually begin with just amino acid therapy to begin restoring proper neurotransmitter function. After 7-10 days on your recommended therapy, you will follow up with Dr. Oler so that he can make any necessary changes to your program.
Additional follow up appointments will be scheduled based on your needs; typically (about 80% of the time) it only takes 3-4 appointments to achieve optimal neurotransmitter function with the concurrent elimination of migraines.
